Various - Monstapiece - Crossroads (CD)

€16.90

This is the second album coming out of the Monsta Piece Stable, and once again all songs are produced and arranged by Peter Coppin and Terry Arthur, recorded and mixed by Peter Coppin for Monsta Piece Entertainment except “On The Route” which was arranged, produced and mixed by the genius Nicholas Branker. Marka Wright also co-produces and mixes on “Sharon”, “Matie” and “Look Meh”. Coupled with the cream of the crop artists out of Barbados, Trinidad and Jamaica this album is going to be a Monsta hit! “Cross Roads” features 18 excellent tracks including Tune of the Crop Winner and Labour Day in New York Road March King Rupert Clarke’s “Jump” the most infectious song for the whole Carnival season and the hypnotic “Insomnia”. The beautiful voice of Edwin Yearwood on “The Good & Bad” and Alison Hinds of Square One on “Sweetest Wine” adds to the party mood. Ramases Brown ‘s “Fire” creates more frenzy with Gynner’s Venga Con La Soca adding a touch of salsa to te album. Nigel Lewis, 3 Canal and Bunji Garlin join the bacchanal as does the most uncontrollable and unpredictable artist in Jamaica right now, Elephant Man on “Nah Bow”.
