The Tokyo-based lady producer and DJ crew Hemo + Moofire strikes again! After releasing more or less a riddim each year since 2003 with great success, the two girls haven’t been lazy in 2008 as well. They produced the S-Latino Riddim, a fine Soca-Dancehall instrumental voiced not only by big names from Japan but also by internationally well-known Trinidadian artists like the illustrious Bunji Garlin or Mr Slaughter.
Blending together Japanese and Caribbean sounds, lyrics and feelings, this is more than just another short-lived riddim. So far only released on vinyl the positive energy and vibes of the S-Latino Riddim is now brought to you digitally by Faluma, being the third cooperation between the German label and the Japanese producers.
