The brandnew single “London – Why Oh Why” is taken from Franz Job’s forthcoming album titled ‘The Outcast Descendant’.
It speaks of the Black experience in London from as early as the 50s – and though the message is a serious one, it is also an uptempo and party-like Reggae tune for easy listening.
Franz Job decided to record and release this song as a tribute to all Caribbean people who’ve worked tirelessly and contributed to the British society, to little or no recognition – an who’ve only received abuse and deprivation in return. He also dedicate it to their children and grandchildren who suffer the same experiences [especially in London] today.
“London – Why Oh Why” is a very important and personal recording to Franz, as his own parents [now retired and living in Tobago] were once among the very people who’s cry he is now trying to highlight.
