Whooat? Jouvert is already over? We don’t feel like it! We still have the Jab Jab fever in us! The highly infectious Gutter Riddim is still spreading all over the Caribbean, passing the Jab Jab fever on from Grenada to Trinidad to St Vincent and St Lucia. The Gutter Riddim’s Jab Jab madness was aroused by the Grenadian producer crew Island Traffic Entertainment and infected soca-heads all over the world. The jab jab king Tallpree placed 4th in the competition for Soca Monarch 2010 in T&T with his tune “Playing Jab (Wicked Jab)” on the Gutter Riddim. Former Soca Monarch Bunji is having a “Mad Carnival”, while his wive and 2009 Soca Monarch Fay-Ann is “Thinking ah Something”.

However this isn’t all: Island Traffic Ent are producing riddims like crazy and gave us another two with loads of fantastic tunes to distribute digitally. Both plus two bonus tracks are compiled on a sampler called No Control: Pot Turn Down Riddim and Rum & Gall Riddim. The Pot Turn Down Riddim is packed with more crazy jab jab tunes and has the power to make the crowds go mad, while the Rum & Gall Riddim is a little more mellow, just right do wine your waist accompanied by – well, rum and girls!
